Thank goodness our flight out of Florence was delayed! We had to stay an extra night and found this little gem for lunch. It was the best meal we had all week, we were not expecting that!

Staying at a nearby hotel for an early flight out the next day, friends and I were hungry mid afternoon and found this spot about a few short blocks away (good thing as the Italian spots were closed until dinner). I was hoping for 1/2 grilled chicken but the wait would have been 30 minutes (however, a good sign that they cook to order!). The waiter recommended a mixed fried rice platter. It was the Chaufa Especiale and it was awesome! My other two friends kept snitching food off of my plate although their dishes were delicious also but my platter had chicken, shrimp AND steak with fried rice, veggies, eggs and came with 3 sauces. I have been trying to find this chaufa combo in my local Peruvian restaurants back in the States but have not seen the combo offered. I hated leaving food behind as this dish would have been great as leftovers as well. Between the three of us we still couldn&#39;t finish all the food.

Walking near home today, I accidentally found a unique specialty burger restaurant. I usually don&rsquo;t like burgers. I also went in with a try mentality. The price of the burger is medium, but the taste is really good. The platter antipasti is also very cute. Friends who like to eat burgers recommend it.

A very famous Tuscan restaurant, high-quality ingredients are from Di Ponetai Farm. The restaurant is messy and not messy, and the style makes people mistakenly think that they have entered an antique shop. Oil-soaked vegetables: sweet and sour taste, Korean stew, onion, eggplant, zucchini, overall good. Tagliatelle ai porcini: Bolivia fungus wide flat pasta, pasta is fresh. Generally, fresh pasta, the taste after cooking is more suitable for Chinese tongue friends, even spaghetti, fresh style will feel chewy. The reason is that the bag dry pasta cooking will be a little bit raw according to Italian standards. Bowel is really fresh, just with parsley and olive oil, it is a good dish. Here Bowel pasta is very refreshing, no heavy sauce, so it is suitable for the warm temperature. Ribollita: Known as vegetable soup, it is more like a Tuscan specialty with vegetable beans. Bistecca alla Fiorentina di Scottona: Feolentina T-bone steak (variety: Scottona Vitellone Femmina, grade: E), a friend challenges 1kg per person. The outer layer is fragrant, the interior is very soft, juicy but not bloody. The dishes are quite large, and the pasta and vegetable stew in the picture have been divided into two. There are many wine choices in the restaurant, you can talk about cup points. T-bone steak, 800g starting point, 5.40 euros/100g. This meal is about 50 euros/person without drinks.

Bivio is a very local place with consistently good food. It has many shellfish options, not much fish but several grilled meats. The house wine is great as are the staff. We always have a very enjoyable dinner here.

A cena con amici. Qualcuno ha preso men&ugrave; bistecca e altri, me compreso, antipasto e grigliata mista, buona e varia. Prezzi medio alti, vino della casa buono e a prezzo onesto. Servizio un po&#39; frettoloso nel senso che alle volte sembrava che ci mettessero fretta, ma tutti molto cordiali e disponibili.

A dinner with friends. Someone took biscuits and others, including me, mixed, good and varied, good and varied, average high prices, good house wine and at fair price. I was a little hurried service in the sense that it seemed to be hurried, but all of them very friendly and ready.
